Help & FAQ

Integrations, privacy, and how Orion works.

Straight answers on how Unlock connects to your stack, how we protect your relationship data, and how Orion turns that data into next moves — safely.

Relationship intelligence, explained.

What is relationship intelligence?

Relationship intelligence is the practice of turning the relationship data scattered across your CRM, inbox, calendar, and team's networks into a single, living view of who you know, how well, and what to do next. It scores connection strength, surfaces warm-intro paths, and recommends the next move.

How is relationship intelligence different from a CRM?

A CRM is a system of record for the contacts and deals your team enters manually. Relationship intelligence is a layer on top of your CRM and other tools that automatically reads relationship signals across email, calendar, and networks — telling you who matters now and the warm path in, instead of only storing what you logged.

Who uses relationship intelligence?

Founders and CEOs use it to raise faster, sales teams use it to reach decision-makers through warm paths, and investors use it to source and win deals. Anyone whose outcomes depend on relationships — talent, capital, or sales — benefits from seeing their full network in one place.

Does relationship intelligence replace my CRM?

No. Relationship intelligence works on top of the CRM and tools you already use. It enriches the relationships you already have rather than asking you to rip and replace your stack, so you keep what's working and start seeing value quickly.

What data does relationship intelligence use?

It draws on the relationship signals already in your connected systems — email, calendar, CRM, and your team's networks — to understand who you know, how strong each connection is, and how to reach the people who matter. Your relationship data stays yours and is used to advise you, not repackaged or sold.

How does relationship intelligence score relationships?

It reads the frequency, recency, and context of interactions across your connected systems to estimate connection strength, then maps the warmest path to any person or company — including introductions that run through your wider team's network, not just your own.

Technical integrations.

Which systems does Unlock connect to?

Unlock sits across the tools where your relationships already live — your CRM, email, calendar, and network sources. Instead of replacing them, it reads the relationship signals scattered across them and turns those into a single relationship intelligence layer.

Do I have to replace my CRM to use Unlock?

No. Unlock is a layer on top of the CRM and tools you already use, not another system to rip and replace. It enriches the relationships you already have so you can keep what's working and start seeing value without a major migration.

How long does it take to connect everything?

Unlock is designed to work with your existing systems and workflows, so most teams go live in weeks, not quarters. Once your sources are connected, scattered relationship data starts surfacing as next best moves right away.

Does Unlock write back into my CRM or send outreach automatically?

Unlock is built to surface who matters, what's missing, and what to do next — you stay in control of outreach and any updates that flow back to your systems. Orion can draft introductions, outreach sequences, and next steps, but you decide what actually gets sent.

What happens to my workflows if I add a new tool later?

Because Unlock works across your stack rather than locking you into one system, you can keep evolving your tools. The relationship layer adapts to the sources you connect, so new tools strengthen your intelligence instead of fragmenting it.

Data privacy & protection.

How does Unlock treat my relationship data?

We treat your relationship data as sensitive by default. It's used to give you visibility and context across your own systems, team, and network — surfacing who matters and what to do next — not repackaged or sold. Your relationships stay yours.

Who on my team can see which relationships?

Access is scoped to your organization and its permissions. Enterprise plans add advanced access controls and SSO so larger teams can decide exactly who sees which relationships, sources, and insights.

Is my data isolated from other organizations?

Yes. Your relationship intelligence is built from your connected sources for your team's use. Insights are generated within your organization's context — Unlock doesn't blend your private relationship graph into a shared, cross-customer pool.

What security controls are available for larger organizations?

Enterprise plans include advanced security, single sign-on (SSO), and granular access controls to meet the requirements of larger organizations. If your team has specific security or compliance needs, we'll walk through them during your demo.

Can I control or remove what Unlock holds?

Because Unlock layers on top of your existing systems rather than becoming your system of record, you stay in control of your underlying data. Reach out and we'll help you manage connected sources and what Unlock retains for your team.

Orion, the AI advisor.

What is Orion and how is it different from a general AI assistant?

Orion is Unlock's AI advisor for relationship momentum. A general LLM can help you write a message, but it can't see your relationships — Orion can. It's built on Unlock's relationship-building framework, with persistent memory, structured action plans, and accountability loops, so advice turns into repeatable progress.

What data does Orion use to give advice?

Orion works from the relationship signals already surfaced in your Unlock layer — the people, context, and momentum across your connected systems, team, and network. That's what lets it recommend the right introduction, outreach, or next move instead of generic suggestions.

Does Orion use my relationship data to train public AI models?

Orion is designed to advise you on your data, within your organization's context. Your private relationship graph powers your action plans and recommendations — it isn't there to be turned into a public, cross-customer training set. Security and data handling tighten further on Enterprise plans.

How does Orion's memory work across sessions?

Orion carries context forward with persistent memory, so you can pick up where you left off and every conversation builds on the last. That memory stays tied to your account and goals rather than starting from scratch each time.

Does Orion act on my behalf without approval?

No. Orion moves you from recommendation to follow-through with clear next steps and visible relationship progress, but you stay in the loop. It's an advisor and accountability partner — you decide which plans, intros, and outreach to act on.
